Thong Sala

A guide to Thong Sala, Koh Phangan's main town and ferry port: markets, restaurants, and onward transport across the island.

Thong Sala is the commercial and transport hub of Koh Phangan — home to the main ferry pier, the island's best markets, and a growing restaurant and cafe scene. Almost every arrival begins here, and it is around ten to twenty minutes from our villas on the west and north coasts.
