Every month, on the night of the full moon, Haad Rin beach transforms into one of the world's most celebrated parties. What began as a small gathering in the late 1980s has grown into a global phenomenon, drawing 10,000 to 30,000 revellers from across the world.
The party runs from dusk until well past dawn, with multiple stages, fire shows, and the entire beach lit by the glow of the moon and neon body paint. It is, by any measure, a singular experience.

The Full Moon Party takes place every month, on or around the night of the full moon. Dates occasionally shift by a day or two due to local regulations or Buddhist holidays. Full Moon dates are the busiest of the month, and villas for those weeks book up well in advance.

What to Expect
Arrive early
The party officially starts at sunset, but the beach fills up from early evening. Arrive before 10pm to secure a good spot.
Wear old clothes
Neon body paint, buckets of mixed drinks, and a beach full of people means your clothes will not survive the night. Dress accordingly.
Keep your valuables safe
Leave passports, excess cash, and valuables at your villa. Bring only what you need.
Arrange your return
Taxis and songthaews are plentiful but busy after the party. We can arrange a private transfer for your group.
Recover properly
The party runs until 6–7am. Plan for a recovery day — your private pool will be essential.
